Let’s keep this short and sweet so we can all enjoy the impending weekend…
It’s the LAST FRIDAY of June! And do you know what that means? Only FIVE DAYS LEFT to pre-order your hardcover copy of Hailey Piper’s debut novel, QUEEN OF TEETH. Pick it up while you have the time, because after June 30th, there will be no more copies available. We are not keeping any additional copies for conventions or special events of any kind. Secondary markets will be the only place to (possibly) grab a copy.
If the hardcover isn’t to your liking, then know that Kindle pre-orders are now live on Amazon and you can get your copy HERE.
And, if Kindle isn’t your thing, then just wait a hot minute, because the trade paperback will be available on August 1st! Beg your library for a copy. Ask your local bookshop to pick up a copy. These are all helpful things to tiny ol’ publishers like Rooster Republic.
NOT ALL MONSTERS Kindle files are almost complete. We talked about this on Monday, and we should have a pre-order window up and going any day now.
We also posted a reminder about submissions for CHROMOPHOBIA and BIZARRO PULP PRESS. And, we are so nice, here’s those details for a second time:
CHROMOPHOBIA submission guidelines can be found HERE.

Expected word count for CHROMOPHOBIA: ~90K

ONLY A LITTLE OVER THREE MONTHS TO PREP YOUR BIZZARO PULP PRESS SUBMISSION
On Tuesday, we posted a story prompt titled A Long Walk Home, accompanied by this piece of original art by Don Noble:
And then, on Wednesday, we posted our new pre-made cover art:
Thursday, we took a look at one of 2019’s most impressive forays into the supernatural, Shannon Taggart’s unbelievably good exploration into the world of Spiritualism and mediums, SÉANCE. A stunning book, from cover to cover, and worth seeking out though it is out of print.
That is the week in review! Next Monday, we will implore that you do not hesitate to pick up your QUEEN OF TEETH hardcover. Tuesday, we will have another author/publisher spotlight, Wednesday will see more pre-made cover art, Thursday will see another installment of our “RoosterVision” series, and Friday will be a new month with all new worries and projects and art and so on and so on…
We like you. And we hope you like us. And, for as long as we can, we will supply you with things to read, art to ogle, and thoughts to contemplate.
Thanks for reading, and we look forward to seeing you again after the weekend.
Until then, consider grabbing the soon-to-be OUT OF PRINT hardcover edition of Hailey Piper’s QUEEN OF TEETH.
