It’s Friday, I’m In Love

Sleek as a shriek, spinning 'round and 'round

Hello, Beautiful. Hope you’re looking forward to the weekend!

Yesterday was a good day because we received a new book in the mail!

UNICORN WASTELAND, by Emma Alice Johnson, published by Everybody Press. A beautiful cover, and knowing how well Emma writes, made this a no-brainer purchase. Weekend reads rule! Don’t be surprised if this title ends up in a “RoosterVision” article sooner than later.

It was a busy week, per usual. Lots of clients, lots of covers. Assembling the master file for CHROMOPHOBIA is imminent, which means lots and lots of sweat-inducing formatting. For those of you experienced with formatting anthologies, you know of what we speak. Technically, it isn’t really Hell. But it feels like it might be?

Speaking of CHROMOPHOBIA… Nicholas Day shared a WIP illustration via his personal site, and we’re going to share that here, too.

Just one pre-made went up this week, but it’s another doozy from Don Noble:

And, on Monday, we showcased one of this year’s Bizarro Pulp Press titles, CONSUME. It’s a debut novella from Kourtnea Hogan. Don Noble’s cover art for the book is a jaw-dropper and we’re going to share it again, because it is good, because the book is good, and we like heading into the weekend on a note of positivity.

Much love to you, readers. Throw out your frown. Just smile at the sound.

It IS Friday.
