FAIREST FLESH Nominated For “Best Debut” & QUEEN OF TEETH Hardcovers Now Out Of Print; Plus, Week In Review

Exciting news, the week in review, and looking forward to July

Always nice to wake up to good news. Congratulations are in order for K.P. Kulski. Her debut novel, FAIREST FLESH, has been nominated for “Best Debut” by the Ladies of Horror Fiction. You can check out the entire list of nominees at their site, HERE. It was this time, last year, when we were putting finishing touches on the cover art for this release, in both hardcover and trade paperback. It was a pleasure to make such beautiful work for such a grisly fairly tale.

And, of course, we eagerly await whatever K.P. Kulski has in store for us with future releases.

Congratulations, again, to K.P. Kulski and many thanks to Ladies of Horror Fiction and their readers.

On Wednesday, this week, QUEEN OF TEETH’s hardcover pre-order came to a close. That hardcover is now an out-of-print edition. And if you are among those who now own a copy, thank you ever so much for the support. Take care of that book! It’s bound to be a collector’s item. However, if you missed out on the limited hardcover, never fear, the trade paperback will be released on August 1st and the Kindle is available for pre-order HERE.

The hype train for QUEEN OF TEETH has rolled out of the station and we look forward to seeing the book’s reception over the next several months. The first review, from Kirkus, was a starred review, and is being featured in their print magazine’s August 15th issue. The second glowing review comes from Rue Morgue, and can be found in issue 201 (July/Aug), which you can pick up in stores or online HERE. Special shout-out to Tracy Robinson for being a vocal champion to Hailey Piper’s debut novel.

On Monday, we talked about NOT ALL MONSTERS finally making the jump to Kindle. Pre-order the Halloween release HERE. We are offering the Stoker-nominated anthology for 9.99 but ONLY during the pre-order window. After Halloween, the Kindle price will be raised to its regular retail price.

On Tuesday, we gave an author/publisher spotlight to Scarlett R. Algee

Wednesday, we posted new cover art:

On Thursday, we took a look at Doungjai Gam’s excellent novella, WATCH THE WHOLE GODDAMNED THING BURN.

Which, of course, bring us back to today.

Next week, our first full week of July! We are officially in the second half of 2021. And while we have quite a bit going on behind the scenes, we felt like July would be a good month to revisit this year’s Bizarro Pulp Press titles. So, starting Monday, that’s exactly what you can expect.

That’s it for this week and the end of a busy, busy June. Hope you have a nice weekend.

Thanks, as always, for the support. It truly cannot be overstated how important your continued support is to our tiny, two-person organization.

And, thanks for reading.
