It’s Friday, January 14th, 2022 and we are feeling pretty good, all things considered.
CHROMOPHOBIA pre-orders are cruising into the double-digits, and that’s a BIG sigh of relief. Sales were pretty slow, no lie, but pre-orders really picked up once we announced the authors. Imagine that!
You can pre-order your hardcover copy HERE.
Speaking of, now that we have an idea of who is going to be in the anthology, we now have a better idea of what we plan on doing for the full dust-jacket wrap. We’ll be working on art for CHROMOPHOBIA for the next several months, with an eye towards wrapping production sometime in March (or sooner, if we can).
Will there be skulls? Will there be more color? Only time can tell! But, the answer is very likely YES, OF COURSE.
CHROMOPHOBIA: A Strangehouse Anthology by Women in Horror will include works by the following authors:
Frances Lu-Pai Ippolito
Lauren C. Teffeau
And THAT, folks, is a helluva lineup.
In the meantime, we are gearing up for February, which means taking a look at this year’s upcoming Bizarro Pulp Press titles. We will actually start our showcase on January 31st, this year, and then showcase a new title every Monday for the rest of February. Five new BPP titles in 2022, instead of the usual four we’ve done in the past:
THE LIFE AND TIMES OF HIERONYMUS ALOYSIS ZIEGE, BY HI ZIEGE, EDITED AND INTRODUCED BY JOHN BRUNI by John Bruni
HOUSE OF PUNGSU by K.P. Kulski
THE TAXIDERMIED MAN by Jacy Morris
GOD’S LEFTOVERS by Grant Wamack
CONSUME by Kourtnea Hogan
We hope all you readers are looking forward to these books! I know we are.
