2021 Wonderland Award Winners

Do you like WEIRD books? Of course you do!

Monday morning! We’ve got coffee inside us and we’ve got good news to share!

The Wonderland Awards were presented this past weekend, and the “Novel” award went to Jeremy Robert Johnson’s THE LOOP (Saga Press) and the “Collection” award went to Andre Duza’s DON’T F[BLEEP]K WITH THE COLOUREDS.

We have to give a shout out to Duza. Probably best known for DEAD BITCH ARMY, he’s got quite a few titles under his belt, so to speak. We’ve published two titles from Duza: KING DOLLAR; NOFACE. And, we just picked up IL CINEMA DE LUCIFERO (co-written with Nick Cato) for Bizarro Pulp Press’s 2022 lineup. And when he’s not writing books, he’s working on films, and when he’s not working on films, then he’s training in martial arts. Man keeps busy and he’s building a mountain of work. Check him out HERE if you haven’t.

Johnson, of course, had quite a bit of success with THE LOOP, especially coming off his earlier SKULLCRACK CITY. If you aren’t familiar with his work, then check out his website HERE. We’d recommend ENTROPY IN BLOOM as a starting point, if you’re unfamiliar with his work.

Two great authors, with plenty to add to your ever-growing TBR tower! Congratulations to both, and congratulations to those (including our own CRADLELAND OF PARASITES by Sara Tantlinger) who were nominated.

Hope everyone has a lovely week, and we thank you for reading.
